FARGO, N.D. (AP) _ A North Dakota heavy equipment manufacturing company is showing off its $50 million expansion project.
The Caterpillar Reman Drivetrain facility in West Fargo will help produce components for large off-highway trucks and other mining equipment.
Caterpillar acquired the North Dakota assets of Gremada Industries Inc. in July 2008.
While announcing the expansion in 2011, company officials said they expected the move to create about 250 new jobs, nearly doubling the current workforce at the plant
A grand opening ceremony is scheduled Monday at 2 p.m.
