The nicer weather has brought all my feathered and furry friends back to my yard.  Each morning the Bluejays let me know if the feeder is empty.  The Dove pair sit on the fence and observe the other birds.  And the squirrels ...try to eat their own treats, plus what I leave for the birds.    I found out, all of them have a sweet tooth too.  DQ brownie pieces and cookie dough pieces get eaten first before the peanuts.

Here it is...the 23rd of April...we set a record last night for low temperatures.  We have snow in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow...Winter really needs to go away and rest now.  It's Spring's turn. 

Ugh.  So the "crud" has gotten ahold of me again.  I am about done with my antibiotics, my voice is getting closer to sounding like normal. I spent the holiday on the couch, eating comfort food. It is going around...I wonder how long it will last?  I have friends that have battled it for over a month! I hope I am close to done with it! 

The stores have had Easter Candy on display since January. I have avoided it until this past weekend.  Bought a bag of Reese Minatures...it's empty... it's not even Easter yet. Guess I will have to go shopping again.

Mid-March can drive me nuts.  Some days it's really nice, other days we are back to winter.  Just when I am thinking about tackling a flowerbed, clearing out the dried up vines etc...we get snow and I pull out the shovel instead!

This weekend..we spring forward again.  Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed Saturday night. 

Ok, does yesterday count for the March saying...In like a Lion, Out like a Lamb? 

Boy, days like today you can really see how much sand was put down this winter. With the warmer weather, snow melting, roads drying..its gritty....
