To commemorate National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, they tweeted, quote, "Take a moment to remember #PearlHarbor with us" . . . and included a picture of a SMILING, CARTOON Spaghettio holding an American flag.
But people immediately criticized them for commemorating the Pearl Harbor attacks by tweeting a smiling corporate mascot.
PATTON OSWALT summed it up pretty well, and wrote quote, "Thank you, Spaghettios . . . and God bless tone-deaf tweeting corporate interns everywhere."
Spaghettios eventually pulled down the tweet after about 12 hours . . . and Campbell's Soup, which owns Spaghettios, apologized.
