Last month some TAYLOR SWIFT fans convinced Abercrombie & Fitch to stop selling a T-shirt that made fun of her going from boyfriend to boyfriend. They even issued an apology and Tweeted that they'd stopped selling the shirt.
Well, a company named Bad Kids Clothing has a shirt that lists the names of all the guys she has supposedly hooked up with. It makes no mention of Taylor, but once you read the names it's obvious who they're talking about.
Here's what it says: "Jonas & Till & Lautner & Mayer & Gyllenhaal & Redmayne & Efron & Kennedy & Styles." (Source Photo)
As you'd expect, as soon as the "Swifties" found out they started an email campaign demanding that it be removed from the company's website.
At first, Bad Kids didn't want the headache so they caved. A spokesman said, quote, "So I took down the picture . . . I don't really care . . . and they kept going. It got worse and worse."
How worse? They actually received DEATH THREATS. But that may have been the line in the sand. They're now REFUSING to take if off their website.
What's more, they're now selling it in five different colors. The only change they made was removing CORY MONTEITH'S name from the original design, out of respect after his death last weekend.
Here's a statement from Bad Kids Clothing: "We will not be removing the shirt from our store. We will however remove Cory's name. This shirt is intended to be lighthearted and a joke . . . for those who can understand this type of humor.
"We will deal with the death threats and incredible slander from here on out, when necessary, with proper authorities as it is never acceptable to threaten anyone's life."
(Here's a link called "Bad Kids vs. Swiftie Nation" on the company's blog. It kind of tells the story of how the whole thing went down . . . and it includes nasty posts from the "Swifties". CAREFUL, it's also filled with profanities.)
